According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, there was heavy to very heavy rain in different districts including Jaipur. At the same time, there has been light to moderate rain with thunder in some places.

Badra is raining in Jodhpur, Udaipur

According to the Meteorological Department, the districts of Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions received heavy rains last night. Due to the torrential rains, the roads in many cities and towns were filled with knee-deep water.

Traffic was snarled in the capital city of Jaipur on Friday due to waterlogging caused by intermittent rains at many places in the city. People had to face difficulties.

Chances of rain in these areas today

The spokesperson of the Jaipur Meteorological Center said that the monsoon will remain active in Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota divisions of eastern Rajasthan. There is a possibility of rain in most parts and heavy rain at some places.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division and heavy rain at one or two places.

He told that today the monsoon is likely to remain active and rains will continue in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur and Kota divisions of eastern and north-eastern Rajasthan.

Know where and how much rain fell

A spokesman of the Meteorological Department said that in the last 24 hours, torrential rains were recorded in many districts including Alwar, Jaipur, Sikar, Sirohi, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand.

He told that during this period the maximum rainfall was received in Sirohi's Mount Abu at 14 cm. Railmagra in Rajsamand received 12 cm, Jodhpur Phalodi 11,

Kotputli in Jaipur 10, and Behrod in Alwar and Raisinghnagar in Sriganganagar nine cm. It rained 4.3 inches in Phalodi, 3.7 inches in Sikar.
