Agro Haryana, New Delhi Agriculture News: Farmer Devendra Dawande of Khedi village in MP has done amazing work in farming. He has grown five types of vegetables in a single plant. All this became possible because of the Turkey Berry (Wild Bhata) plant.

Devendra had ordered it from Tamil Nadu. He used the technique of grafting in this plant, due to which two types of brinjal and two types of tomatoes grew on the same plant.

Now three varieties of brinjal and two varieties of tomatoes are bearing fruit in this one plant. This can bring a revolutionary change in the field of farming in MP.

Three months ago, Devendra took training in grafting from an agricultural scientist. He planted two wild brinjal plants, one at home and the other at the Panchmukhi Hanuman temple.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, at the Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, they grafted green and black brinjal plants into wild brinjals. After this he also grafted hybrid and local tomato plants.

This is the reason why now we are getting good results from this farming. Devendra Dawande has taken training from an agricultural scientist for this farming. This story teaches us that nothing is impossible if we have dedication and hard work.

Agricultural scientists also told new technology

According to agricultural scientist RD Barpethe, grafting is a valid and effective technique.

In this technique, plants of the same species are joined together. For example: Tomato, Okra, Potato, Chilli. After grafting, these plants grow easily and bear fruits. This technology can bring many benefits to the farmers.

Higher yield in less space: Many types of beans can be grown in a single plant.

Protection from diseases: Grafting helps protect disease-fighting plants from diseases by connecting them to weaker plants.

Saving water and fertilizer: Grafting requires less water and fertilizer.

This technology is used by farmers all over the world. This technology can help farmers increase their income.
