Agro Haryana, New Delhi Hardik Pandya: Mumbai Indians, playing IPL 2024 under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, have faced three consecutive defeats one after the other. The season started with a defeat against Gujarat Titans.

After this Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Mumbai. Fans from Mumbai, playing its first match of the season at home, had expectations that the team would register its first win by defeating Rajasthan Royals, but it did not happen.

After this defeat, former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar took the name of Suryakumar Yadav and said that Mumbai is missing a game changer.

Gavaskar spoke about Surya

Talking about the performance of Mumbai Indians' top order batsmen, Gavaskar said, 'Mumbai Indians are definitely missing Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar bats at number 3 and he can counterattack so well, but he is not available at the moment.

The Mumbai Indians team will be hoping and praying that he is available very soon, as he can make a big difference in the match. He is a game-changer, Suryakumar.

Mumbai's batting was poor

Mumbai batsmen disappointed in the match against Rajasthan. So everyone except Hardik and Tilak Verma batted poorly. Three top order batsmen could not even succeed in opening the account.

Rohit Sharma, Naman Dheer and Dewald Brewis were sent back to the pavilion for a duck by Trent Bould. With the help of Tilak Verma (32 runs) and Hardik (34 runs), the team reached 125 runs, which was easily chased by the Rajasthan batsmen.

Shameful record in Rohit's name

A shameful record was also registered in the name of Rohit Sharma. The 36-year-old batsman could not succeed in opening his account for the 17th time in IPL.

With this, Rohit has jointly become the first player along with Dinesh Karthik to be out on 0 for the most number of times in IPL.

Both these batsmen have been out without opening the account 17 times in the IPL so far.
